Meeting at Tbilisi Airport. Transfer in hotel. Overnight in hotel.

After breakfast we start visiting Tbilisi from Trinity Temple which is third in the world for its height and the highest one in Transcaucasia. We will take walk on Shardeni Street where there are lots of café-bars, night clubs and shop for souvenirs. We will visit History Museum and see many interesting historic works. We will continue excursion visiting Sioni Cathedral (XIII century). We will take walk on Erekle II Street, cross Bridge of Peace – Glass Bridge on the river Mtkvari which with its modern architecture is most beautiful place to see on the background of Tbilisi. We will catch rope-way and go up to Tbilisi Citadel Narika Fortress (IV century) from where most beautiful view of Old Tbilisi opens. When returning back from fortress we will visit famous sulfur baths. Afterwards we will visit Tbilisi Ethnography Museum. Museum is located on the hill of Lake Tortoise under open air and unites 14 various ethnography areas of Georgia with their cultural characteristics. After seeing museum we will go up to Lake Tortoise (Park and relaxation complex near the Lake). Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.

After breakfast we will go to Imereti region. On our way we will see city of Gori, where Ioseb Stalin, leader of Soviet Union was born. We will see his Museum and personal things of the leader, including the train wagon which he used to take. We will see cultural wonder Uplistsikhe (Fortress of God) which is the city cut in rocks in the region of Kartli. We will see the very interesting complex of city caves which are dated back to I millennium B.C. Excursion lasts about 1 hour. After this we will travel to city of Kutaisi. On our way we will stop at Rikoti Pass in several places for seeing locally produced products. We will go to Kutaisi, city which was the capital of Old Kolkheti and from where Golden Fleece was stolen by Argonauts. Dinner in the hotel. In the evening we will take a walk tour to see Bagrati Temple (XI century) which is included in the list of UNESCO world heritage. Overnight in Kutaisi.

After breakfast we will start traveling to Kutaisi. We will see most important historic and natural monuments in the region. Firstly we will see Gelati Monastery and Academy Complex (XII century) included in the cultural heritage list of UNESCO. Here is the grave of the Greatest King of Georgia, King David the Builder. Near Gelati you will see Motsameta, monastery complex surrounded by green forest in rocky mountains. We will continue our way to medical resort Tskaltubo where lots of tourists arrive annually for taking mineral water baths. We will visit Sataplia where there is the race of dinosaur found and we will walk in colored grottoes. The most astonishing place is Prometheus Grotto where there are 5 various formed halls created by various rocks dated back to millions of years. Grotto is even more beautiful on the background of beautiful colored lights. We will go back to Kutaisi and take walk in the city center. Supper and overnight in Kutaisi.

After breakfast we will go back to Batumi, city named Black Sea Pearl. Before arriving to the city we will visit Batumi Botanic Garden which occupies 111 hectares and contains nine climatic sectors. Garden collection united 2037 wooden plants from which 104 are of Caucasian origin. We will continue our trip to Gonio Fortress which was built in II century by Romanians. According to one of the legends here pupil of Jesus Christ is buried. In the evening we will take a walk in beautiful boulevard of Batumi. Overnight in the hotel of Batumi.

Breakfast in the hotel. We will benefit from our free time and rest on the bank of Black Sea. We can visit Batumi Dolphinarium and see dolphin show old and recent programs. We will have free time for visiting Batumi basically. Overnight in Batumi hotel.

After breakfast we will go back to Tbilisi. On our way to Tbilisi we will drop at first capital of Georgia, Mtskheta. Since 2007 Mtskheta is declared as city museum. Here are two monuments of UNESCO cultural heritage Jvari Monastery (IV century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (XI century).  After seeing the city we will go back to Tbilisi. Overnight at Tbilisi Hotel.
