2 days wine tour in wine region – Kakheti, where wine production started 8000 years ago and nowadays, high quality wine is produced using oldest traditions and modern technologies. 65-70% of vineyards in Georgia are located in Kakheti region; therefore, it has the most important place in the culture of Georgian wine. During the tour, you can visit Signagi – city of love, and enjoy its wonderful infrastructure and beautiful nature. You may get acquainted with the oldest tradition of wine making, taste the wine from the pitcher and prepare a famous delicacy of Georgian people – Churchkhela, with your own hands. On your tour to Kakheti region, you can also visit various wine cellars and get acquainted with the traditions of Georgian dinner – trapezi. Wine lovers will enjoy 2 day trip in paradise of wine, the divine liquid – as Georgians call it.

Bodbe monastery (XI - XVII centuries)
The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex and the seat of the Bishops of Bodbe located 2 km from the town of Sighnaghi, Kakheti, Georgia. Originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.
Sighnaghi - city of love
City of Love, as named by Georgians is a charming city with its wonderful architecture and an exquisite location. City is surrounded by 4 km wall, which gives an ancient charm to the city. Wonderful view opens from the city on the Alzani Valley and Mountains of Caucasus. In 2007 certain restoration works were performed in the city, local hotels and restaurants provide everything required for the perfect vacation. Sighnaghi hosts Georgian and foreign guests in every season of the year.
Khareba wine cellar
Winery Khareba owns an unique and rare wine cellar located in Kvareli, in the Alazani Valley. Carved inside the Caucasus mountains and opened in 1962 for the OIV World Congress, the cellar/tunnel is 7,7 kilometers long. The best wines of the Kakheti region have been stored and aged here for decades. The tunnel preserves a natural temperature of 12-14° Celcius with a humidity rate of 70%; the ideal conditions for wine preservation.
ILIA lake in Kvareli
The lake was named after the great Georgian writer and public figure Ilia Chavchavadze. An artificial lake is located in Kindzmarauli’s unique micro-zone. Part of the lake is covered with the leafy trees, while on its other side you can find recreational park, cafes, restaurants and a new hotel in the woods. The lake was arranged with state expenditure for the development of leisure infrastructure in Kvareli region and it became a favorite destination for locals.
wine cellar "Corporation Kindzmarauli"
The history of Kindzmarauli Corporation dates back to 1533, it was a part of Kvareli fortress. King of Kakheti levan the great ordered the construction of the wine cellar (marani) together with the other buildings of various purpose.
Church Nekresi (IV century)
Nekresi is a historic town in Kakheti, Georgia, in modern-day Kvareli Municipality, near the village of Shilda. The town was established by king Pharnajom (around 2nd-1st centuries BC). In the 4th century AD, king Thrdat built a church in this place. This church became a refuge to one of the Assyrian fathers, Abibus, in the late 6th century. Around this time Diocese of Nekresi was established, which existed until the 19th century.
Twin's wine cellar in Napareuli
Wine Company & Museum named Twins Wine Cellar is located in the village of Napareuli and was established by twin brothers Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvili. The company is oriented on Kakhetian method of wine production and follows family traditions of wine making.
Alaverdi monastery (VI - XI centuries)
At a height of over 55 m (180 ft), Alaverdi Cathedral was the tallest religious building in Georgia, until the construction of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, which was consecrated in 2004. However its overall size is smaller than the cathedral of Svetitskhoveli in Mtskheta.
Museum of Aleksandre Chavchavadze in Tsinandali
(House-Museum and Wine cellar) – Tsinandali village in Telavi Municipality. Village is known for the house-museum of famous Georgian writer – Alexander Chavchavadze and XIX century unique wine cellar. Tsinandali estate Garden currently occupies 12 hectares. In 30-ies of XIX century Alexander Chavchavadze made wine cellar, where he used to collect unique European wines together with the wines of his own production.
